11.75x7 Spalted/Ambrosia Maple (standing)

The Numbers 6 Cross is made of Solid Spalted/Ambrosia Maple. This type of Maple is from a tree that is usually discovered years after it has fallen and the elements of decomposition have taken hold. The edges are burned. The scripture is hand written each time and then burned into the face of the cross.

The grain one these will vary and will never be the same. They are so unique in this way. You never know what the first application of oil will reveal. They are finished to an almost semi-gloss sheen.
