Cross of Hope - Purple Cancer Survivor Ribbon

$59.50

11x8

The Purple Awareness Ribbon is used for Cancer Survivors, Alzheimers Awareness, Pancreatic Cancer Awareness, Hodgekin’s Lymphoma Awareness, Lupus Awareness, Domestic Violence Awareness, and Testicular Cancer Awareness just to name a few.

The crosses are Solid Walnut or Solid Ash. The ribbon is made entirely of Fir or white Pine. It takes multiple cuts and carving to get this shape. It is sealed, painted and then finished to a beautiful Semigloss sheen. The ribbon is finished in all water based finishes to reduce the off-gassing of chemicals.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

I asked a good friend of ours to name this Ribbon draped cross. She is currently in her second battle against an aggressive cancer. She told me that this verse gives her hope each day as she struggles to keep going and to keep fighting. She then said there are days she cannot fight so she give’s her struggle to God and leaves it at the cross. She named these Awareness ribbon crosses the Crosses of Hope.

God bless us all who struggle in pain, as it brings us closer to understanding Jesus’s pain endured on the cross. It’s a hard reality to realize that we will all struggle and we will all die. How we glorify God in our struggle can change the world.

For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for Him. Phillipians 1:29

Sometimes folks don't just have one struggle. The one with the pink/purple ribbon is a fighter who was a previous cancer survivor and then had to battle Breast Cancer.
