This beautiful Graceful Life Cross represents the new life given to us by God’s grace. The budded flower scrolled through the center of the cross represents the beginning of an eternal life that was revealed to us when Jesus Christ died for our sins. The three flares on the budding flower represent the Holy Trinity. Only through Christ do we have this life; a Graceful and Eternal life.
This wood was originally milled in 1949 and used to build a local livestock barn. I recovered the wood in 2020. The back is left the way it was found. The front has been finished and grained.
He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.
