The Vineyard Cross

“Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.” John 15:4 NLT
This Vineyard Cross is one of our earliest cross designs from 2001. I made only one and it hung in our kitchen until I replicated it ten years later. I made the cross to have a never-ending vine the was pruned to the shape of a cross. The eternal ring is carved around the main vines and gives the appearance that it winds in and out of the crosses branches supporting them even more.
The Vineyard Cross is made from solid Walnut. The edges are burned and the face of it is finished with a natural water based poly up to 3 coats.. It started as satin cross and I have polished it to a semi-gloss through the years. I will do either by request. It will be ready to hang in your home :)
