6x6x1.5 thick recovered Spalted Pecan.

This wood had a stress crack and one side aged faster than the other giving it this unique look. It was recovered after Hurricane Sally in 2020 and was cut and placed in the Summer Kiln for three seasons to kill the bugs and bacteria.
The wood was sanded to 320 and soaked in a home made oil mix and then lacquered and bufffed to a semi- gloss sheen.
The three crosses found on each one were burned in before it was finished.
